Certificate in Learning Islam Through Al-Quran (CLIQ)
CLIQ is a 1-year certificate course in English for adults, offering Islamic education in Tauhid (Islamic Theology), Fiqh (Islamic Juriprudence), Akhlaq (Islamic Ethics) and Sirah (Prophet’s History).
Each subject is 16 sessions long. There are 2 subjects offered in each semester. Students has the choice to take 2 subjects per semester or just 1 subject per semester. Students are given the flexibility to switch from 1 subject to 2 subjects per semester or from 2 to 1 subject per semester. Students also can switch within the same semester.
Lessons will be conducted via pre-recorded lecture. Students can pose questions anytime during and after lecture through Whatsapp and email.

At the end of the course, students will have sound grasp of the fundamentals of Islamic knowledge and rational, logical and/or scientific arguments to support Islamic teachings.
This course is conducted fully in English.
Age 15 years and above.
Class is conducted online.
All lectures will be through pre-recorded videos which will be released on the class day and time.
Student can view the video and post questions and interact with lecturer live during class day and time, or anytime after the release of the video.
The lecture videos are available from the release date to the starting date of the following semester. Thereafter the videos will not be made available.

- Shortest duration is 1 year (if students take 2 subjects per semester).
- Longest duration is 2 years (if students take 1 subjects per semester or combination of 1 and 2 subjects each semester).
- Students can also take a break and continue anytime after that.

Registration Fee
$20 for new students
There will be online test at the end of each semester. Students have have the option to answer it.
- Students who pass the online test will be awarded a graded CLIQ Certificate for that semester.
- Students who fail the test and those who do not sit for the test will be given an ungraded CLIQ Certificate.
- Students who have successfully completed all 4 modules will be awarded with the full CLIQ certificate.
Students who are able to understand Malay are encouraged to further their studies by following the course Pengajian Pendidikan Islam Lanjutan (PPIL).
