Certificate in Learning Islam Through Al-Quran (CLIQ)
CLIQ is a 2-years certificate course in English for adults, offering Islamic education in Tauhid (Islamic Theology), Fiqh (Islamic Juriprudence), Akhlak (Islamic Manners) and Sirah (Prophet’s History).
At the end of the course, students will have sound grasp of the fundamentals of Islamic knowledge and rational, logical and/or scientific arguments to support Islamic teachings.
This course is conducted fully in English.
Age 15 years and above
Class is conducted online.
All lectures will be through pre-recorded videos which will be released on the class day and time.
Student can view the video and post questions and interact with lecturer live during class day time, or anytime after the release of the video.
The lecture videos are available from the release date to the starting date of the following semester.
The lecture videos will be released on every Saturday afternoon.
- The duration of the course is 4 semesters (2 years).
- Students can complete all 4 semesters consecutively or have breaks in between.
- Students need not take all 4 semesters. They can take any semesters they wish.

Registration Fee
$20 for new students
At the end of each semester, students have have the option to answer online test.
- Students who pass the online test will be awarded a graded CLIQ Certificate for that semester.
- Students who fail the test and those who do not sit for the test will be given an ungraded CLIQ Certificate.
- Students who have successfully completed all 4 modules will be awarded with the full CLIQ certificate.
Students who are able to understand Malay are encouraged to further their studies by following the course Pengajian Pendidikan Islam Lanjutan (PPIL).
