Weekend Tahfiz
Weekend Tahfiz has been offered by Darul Huffaz since its inception in 2009 and has hundreds of students. It is conducted physically at Darul Huffaz centre. Students typically start at Juz 30 and work backwards. However, students can also start memorizing from other Juz with teacher’s permission.
At the end of the program, students will be able to:
- Memorize more than Juz 30 of Al-Quran
- Recite the memorized surahs with relative fluency
Students can interact with teachers in Malay and English.
- Able to recite Al-Quran
- No maximum age limit
Saturday
9.00 – 11.00 am (male and female classes)
11.00 – 1.00 pm (male and female classes)
Sunday
9.00 – 11.00 am (male and female classes)
11.00 – 1.00 pm (male only class)
2.00 – 4.00 pm (male and female classes)

Students can take the free monthly tahfiz test if they have completed memorization of each Juz. The test is centralized at Darul Huffaz premise on last Sunday morning of every month (except if it falls on public holiday). Only students whose names have been submitted by their teachers are allowed to take the test.
Tahfiz test will be progressive for every 1 Juz, every 5 Juz, every 10 Juz, every 15 Juz and finally the whole of Al-Quran. This test is optional. Please refer to our Academic Calendar for the dates.
Students who pass the monthly tahfiz exam will be awarded with Result Slip which will be given in pdf format. Students can request for a print-up of their result slips. Students can purchase Darul Huffaz’s Report Book to keep their printed result slips. Students who have completed memorization of all 30 Juz will be awarded a tahfiz certificate.
